The Red Sands Insurance Group is an independent European insurance group that operates across a number of different market sectors and offers a diverse range of products and services.

We have achieved our success by seeking out and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with our business partners, who are all experts in their respective fields. We are not an open-market underwriter, but instead focus on building long term sustainable partnerships with distribution and administration partners.

The value of these partnerships is further enhanced by having access to both life and non-life insurance solutions, combined with relevant underwriting expertise. This flexibility is achieved through the two foundations of the group, Red Sands Life Assurance Company (Europe) Limited and Red Sands Insurance Company (Europe) Limited. Both companies are authorised and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, and operate under European legislation concerning the regulation of insurance companies and provision of services in the EU.

In addition, Red Sands is a member and supporter of the UK’s Association of British Insurers (ABI), Financial Services Compensation Scheme and Financial Ombudsman Service.
