Red Sands is able to provide a wide range of motor insurance protection products.
Guaranteed Asset Protection
Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) cover protects vehicle owners in the event that their vehicle is written off by their comprehensive motor insurer.
In the event that a vehicle is written off under a comprehensive motor insurance policy, a GAP policy will cover the shortfall between the write-off value of the vehicle and the outstanding finance balance.
Return to Invoice
Return to Invoice (RTI) provides similar cover to that of a GAP policy. In the event that a vehicle is written off under a comprehensive motor insurance policy, an RTI policy will cover the shortfall between the write-off value of the vehicle and the original amount you paid for your car.
Comprehensive motor insurance settles the depreciated value of your vehicle, not the amount you originally paid. However, from the second you start driving your car it's depreciating – and will continue to depreciate by up to 60% over a three year period.
RTI cover protects you against this loss.
Motor Warranty cover provides protection against the mechanical breakdown of your vehicle.
Cover can be provided for new or used vehicles, and various options can be structured with regards to your vehicle’s mileage and everyday use.
Additional benefits can include protection against:
- Wear and tear
- MOT failure
- Tyre replacement
- Loss of key
Scratch and Dent
Dent and Scratch cover allows vehicle owners to protect their vehicles against chips, minor dents and scratches.
Cover is designed to ensure that you don’t compromise your no-claim bonus on your standard vehicle insurance, by using a body repair system that will keep your vehicle looking in showroom condition.
Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) is designed to protect an insured's monthly financial repayments. Repayments are typically linked to a specific debt during periods of disability as a result of sickness or disability, involuntary unemployment or redundancy – what is known as an Accident, Sickness and Unemployment (ASU) policy. Typically PPI would include options to provide life and/or critical illness cover.
